Peanut Sauce
This is a mild version so if you like you can add some chilli to spice it up.
6 Tble spoons peanut butter
1 cup water
clove garlic chopped
2 teaspoons palm sugar
2 Tble spoons dark soy sauce
Juice of 1 lemon
Coconut milk for thinning
Put peanut butter and water in saucepan and sir until combined over gentle heat.Remove from heat and add all other ingredients then slowly add cocunt milk to the desired consistancy. You can add more lemon or salt if needed. So now you need the vegs to pour the sauce over.
Potatoe (cooked and sliced)
Bean sprouts( Wash well)
Green beans cooked
Carrots cooked and sliced thinly
cucumber
lettuce
Hard boiled egg
Fried shallots ( bought in Asian food store)
Assemble all this on a platter with the lettuce on the bottom. You can really add anything you like thats in season including some chicken or fish. Yum Yum.

This is the best dessert on earth and once youve made it a couple of times it becomes easy. This is what you need:
1 tbl spoon butter
1 cup caster sugar
1 tbl spoon plain flour
2 tbl spoons SR flour
2 lemons (rind and juice)
2 eggs separated
1 cup of milk
Mix the butter and the sugar. Stir in the flours, lemon juice and rind. Add the egg yolks and milk and beat it all together. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the mixture. Then pour all of that into a greased pie tin or small casserole dish. Stand the pie dish in a baking dish of warm water about 3 to 4 centimetres deep and then bake for about 40 minutes at about 190 degrees. Its usually ready when its golden on top. It should be cake like on top and abit gooey underneath the cake. Have it with cream and again I swear people who eat this fall in love with the person who made it .. handy to know.
